Master Data Specialist

Responsible for the overall activity on data quality improvement and analysis, establishing data quality goals and monitor that change will be implemented. Understands business rules and processes of the current organization and documents business requirements.

Responsibilities: 

• Enhance (Create, update and delete) the supplier and item data in master data systems based on agreed guidelines.
• Support global category managers in supplier registration & approval, due diligence and supplier management (certificates, risk analysis, scorecard) processes.
• Identify process improvements, continuous improvement topics and business needs and translate them into development initiatives in collaboration with the responsible Process Expert and Global Process Owner
• Log incidents and follow-up of the resolution.
• In a development project, represent business process and function.
• End user support, training and maintaining the training material in local language (where needed)
• Change Ambassador

Education and Experience:

• BSc/MSc degree in relevant field (e.g. business, engineering, computer science)
• at least 1-2 years related experience in global environment

Skills:

• Ability to work in a systematic manner, detail-oriented, capability to identify patterns, trends and anomalies within the data.
• Analytical and logical thinking
• Understanding of data analysis, data quality and data governance
• Understanding of Procure-to-Pay or similar processes is preferred
• Understanding of procurement tools (e.g. Oracle or SAP ERP) is preferred
• Knowledge of master data management processes and tools is preferred
• Knowledge of RPA, GenAI solutions and SQL is preferred
• Knowledge of data modeling and PowerBI is preferred
• Open to change and adopt new ways of working, technically oriented
• Operate in global matrix organization and with internal stakeholders both locally and globally
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills, fluent spoken and written English language
