Shift Production Supervisor

Nokian Tyres is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization dedicated to building the first zero CO2 emission tire factory in the world from scratch in Oradea. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a highly skilled Shift Production Supervisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Schedules and organize the activities of the directly productive staff in the production team;
• Monitors product quality and productivity of production processes, implementing continuous improvement methods to achieve set objectives;
• Ensures compliance with the training and professional training process of the team staff and the realization of specific documents used in this process;
• Monitors metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess productivity and cost management;
• Supports the implementation of 5S initiatives and is dedicated to the continuous adoption of Lean methods in areas of responsibility;
• Evaluates and analyzes the current way in which activities are carried out and stimulates improvements;
• Supports and collaborates with team members to solve situations arising in the production department;
• Collaborates with the maintenance team in order to increase the time of use of the equipment, implementing together the necessary actions;

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience of at least 5 years in a position of production supervisor in a company in the field of automotive, electronics, plastic injection or metal processing;
• University degree in technical profile is an advantage;
•  Able to put into practice knowledge regarding Lean continuous improvement methods;
• High competence in using applications from the Microsoft Office package;
• Medium English level ( written, spoken and understanding)
