Development Engineer, Nokian Heavy Tyres

We’re looking for a Development Engineer to be a dynamic and enthusiastic new member to our Heavy Tyres R&D team at our head office in Nokia, Finland.

Nokian Heavy Tyres is looking for what’s beyond the next generation of tyres and wheels. As part of our Design team your role will be essential in developing the innovations of tomorrow. So hope you’re ready to be part of shaping the future!

You will be working in close collaboration with different functions inside R&D, but also close collaboration with other departments inside the company is part of your routine work.

Key responsibilities:
• Creating 3D-models
     - new products and existing products
     - tyres and sidewalls
     - rims and steel components
• Supporting product design team
• Creating innovations
• Developing our design process and methods
• Inventiveness and product development with our R&D team

What we expect from you:
• Relevant studies in engineering (e.g. B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
• Your CAD skills are on a high level (preferably Creo)
• Professional experience in R&D and project work
• Open-minded team player with unstoppable hunger to learn new things
• Able to use Finnish and English as working language and comfortable speaking both
